18 July: Meeting & greeting. John Snyder (Mayberry) deserves kudos for
his work making nametags, arranging dinner trips, being the "jack of
all trades"and his overall coordination of the reunion. Ron Bird
(Birdman) delighted everyone with his donations of 40th anniversary t-shirts.
Bobby Scott (Scotty) arranged morning and afternoon visits to
Ft. Carson. Mayberry arranged a dinner in an unusual aircraft setting.
An evening reception with hors d' ouvres furnished by the Capps/Peters
memorial fund and cash bar topped off the evening.

19 July: Scotty once again arranged an excellent and well attended
outing, this time to Cripple Creek. 
A 6pm cocktail hour started off our banquet. We then had a big round of applause to recognize those of us attending the reunion and a toast to those of us who were not
there. We recognized the work done by Robert Owens (Goober) and Larry
Smith (Stache) for their outstanding work keeping us together via
their websites. This was followed by the buffet, a business meeting,
talks by speakers arranged by Gary Rossomme (Roscoe), followed by our
guest speaker Tom Marshall, author of "The Price of Exit". 

20 July: Morning services by Roscoe, Guenther Fritsch (Red Baron) and
 Rupert Harrell (Preacher) were held, during which the names of
deceased Ghost Riders were read. More hospitality room and another
dinner arranged by Mayberry followed.

By the end of the reunion, a fall 2010 reunion to be held in Vancouver
Washington and hosted by Mike Harding (Hardon) and Dana Luce (Zero)
had been agreed upon. This reunion will be in honor of Nanook and
Ringmaster as we enter our "Golden Years".
Nametags at reunions will have stars on them to denote the number of
reunions attended.
$215 is carried forward for the Capps/Peters Memorial Fund, to be used
to stock the hospitality bar. Bar prices will be determined with the
thought of keeping the fund in the $200 to $300 level.
Penguin will contact C/1/159AvnBn , the "Ghost Riders" Guard unit
derived from our unit, to see about a joint reunion(s).
